Science geek, writer and freelance journalist, spending my time writing about science whenever and wherever I can. Specialty is marine and environmental science in particular. Also got a big love for animal and human behaviour and neuroscience. I’m a feminist and environmentalist, completely in favour of the School Strike for Climate.

Have been working in Brussels since 2014, so familiar with European affairs, particularly the European Commission’s DG for Research and Innovation, Horizon 2020 and the upcoming Horizon Europe. I provide consulting services about how to best communicate your research, advice on website design, proofreading services, for both academic papers and institutional/corporate documents, and social media strategy.

If you’re interested in my work, check it out here. If you have a story idea, or you need a science journalist 😉 please don’t hesitate to contact me for more information at cathcollins89@gmail.com.
